Come cook Mediterranean with me!

I'm Christine. I spent 25 years in professional kitchens, 15 of them running my own cooking school here in Frederick, MD. Then, just days after my 53rd birthday, I had a heart attack, and had to learn how to rebuild my own kitchen around this food.

Now I teach Mediterranean-diet friendly meals and techniques to women in midlife. Real meal plans for one or two people, live classes where you actually cook along with me, and an awesome group of women who've stopped dreading 5pm and started having fun again.

The Collective

A cooking membership for women in midlife. Not a diet, not another recipe database you'll forget the password to: a system for getting a genuinely good dinner on the table when it's just one or two of you.

Meal plans every other week. Mediterranean menus built for one or two people, nutritionally sound, and the grocery list is already made and organized by section. No decisions, and nothing rotting in the crisper drawer.

A live cooking class every month. We cook at the same time, in our own kitchens. Camera on or off, questions in the chat, dinner on the table when we’re done.

Challenges and mini courses. Short, skills-based, at your pace, and there's a stack of them waiting the day you join.

The women. Sip & Stirs, message boards, recipe sharing. This is the part members tell me they didn't expect to care about, and it's the part they stay for.

$49 a month. Less than one dinner out. Cancel whenever you want.

Meet Christine

Well hello there!

I’m Christine. Nice to meet you! With 25 years of cooking professionally, 15 of them founding and running my own cooking school in Frederick, Maryland, I’ve been all about the food for a long time. And now, I’m here to spread some of the joy I’ve rediscovered in the kitchen with you.

I'm a Certified Culinary Medicine Professional (CCMP) through the American College of Culinary Medicine, and I teach live online classes for hundreds of people every month. When I attended cooking school in NYC back in the 90’s, my training was all French-technique based. Think cheese, butter, and 44% fat heavy cream. It was glorious, and even though the years kept coming, my habits didn’t change. After all, never trust a skinny chef…amiright?

But then, just days after my 53rd birthday, I had a heart attack. And not just any heart attack, but a widowmaker. It was an incredibly scary time.

It took a couple of years to come to terms with things, and once I did, I rebuilt my kitchen around the Mediterranean diet, because it's the one every doctor keeps telling women our age to eat, and almost nobody teaches you how to actually cook it. No supplements. No seed oil panic. No diet of the month. Think olive oil, generously. Fish twice a week. Vegetables roasted the way they're supposed to be roasted, which is hotter and longer than you think. Salt where it belongs.

And no, none of this is restriction with better marketing. We lived through the SnackWell's era, and we're not going back.

Let's get cooking!

Everything up there lives in one place. Meal plans every other week, a live class every month, the mini courses, and a room full of women who were nervous about the whole thing too. $49 a month, cancel whenever you want.
