Hi, I’m Christine! A chef for 25+ years, cooking teacher, and your new kitchen cheerleader.

After 25+ years as a chef, a heart attack taught me that better cooking is the best thing you can do for your health.

I’ve cooked professionally for over 25 years. Taught thousands of people. Started and ran my own cooking school. The kitchen was always where I felt strongest.

Then in 2020, I had a heart attack.

After decades of teaching, entertaining, and cooking for my family, life (and menopause!) taught me to rethink how I eat, and more importantly, how I want to feel.

Everything shifted. I wasn't cooking for a crowd anymore; I was cooking for my health and my future. Flavor still mattered to me. Joy still mattered to me. But suddenly so did longevity.

I went deep into culinary nutrition, trained and got certified through the American College of Culinary Medicine, and spent months testing everything in my own kitchen.

My capstone project?

Menopause and the Mediterranean diet.
