Class Info
Here are some helpful tips before you take class!
Every event we host is designed with intention, from the atmosphere we create to the way each session flows.
Let’s Zoom!
The doors to class will open at the posted class start time
Please leave yourself on mute unless you have a question.
Camera on or off? It's your choice! I'll have more interaction. Prefer to be more private? Keep your camera off. You can still ask questions as class progresses.
Class will be recorded and the recording will be sent to you after class
Taking an Online Class?
Here’s what you want to know:
Consider printing your recipes. I like to place the printed recipe on a baking sheet, then gather the ingredients for the recipe on the tray. This makes it super easy to keep track of everything.
Invite a friend! Registration is per screen, so you're welcome to include friends and family to cook along with you.
Don't love an ingredient! Leave it out! You can modify and customize the recipes and ingredients as you like.
Set up your space. Gather any tools you may need during the class. This info is included with the recipes.
Start with an empty dishwasher. This way you can load as you go and make clean-up a breeze!
There's no need to prep ingredients before class, unless that's your preference. We'll chop and measure throughout class, but if you feel more comfortable having the prep done ahead of time, have at it!
Two camera views will be spotlighted during class: a view of the chef and a close-up camera of the cutting board or burner.
We'll work through each recipe together. Have a question? Ask! In larger classes there will be a moderator to assist with questions and you'll also be able to use private chat.
Create your own live, online, cooking class with a pro
Think: what do you want to make? Easy, tasty, and healthy weeknight meals? Sushi? Ravioli?
Contact: We’ll work together to create and schedule your ideal class. Everyone will receive their own link so they can cook at home.
Cook with friends and with a pro!: Each of our online classes are moderated. Ask questions with your microphone, or through the chat.
