What’s cooking in an empty nest?
Once you become an empty nester, cooking feels different. (If I’m not worrying about what other people want…what do I even want to eat?! And, how do I make small portions?)
I rediscovered the joy of cooking for myself and husband, and I’m here to share that experience with you. We’re building connection through cooking, and having a lot of fun in the process.

From the Kitchen
Meet your teacher
Christine has been cooking professionally for 25+ years, including 15 founding and running her own cooking school in Frederick, Maryland.
She's culinary medicine certified, teaches live online classes for AARP, and has taught at the college level.
She cooks the Mediterranean diet because that's the diet doctors keep telling mid-life women to eat, and because, after surviving a widowmaker heart attack at 53, it's the kitchen she rebuilt around.
Christine has taught thousands of home chefs how to have fun while cooking well.
